Continental drift
- Alfred Wegener is the one who came up with the idea of Continental Drift.
- He gave evidence including South America's and Africa's coasts matching together like a puzzle piece, glacier marks in South Africa, and the findings of animal fossils on both continents.
- People didn't believe Wegener's theory because he had no evidence on how the continents actually moved. However, this was later proved with the findings of convection currents and plate tectonics.
